Renew your 2007 Microsoft Office Prepaid Edition
 

Reactivate your subscription to continue using your Prepaid edition. Renewals can be done within 30 days of expiration or anytime thereafter. Subsequent renewals will require a 3-month Prepaid Renewal card to get an additional activation key.

Use this page to learn how to use a renewal product key and reactivate your 2007 Office Prepaid edition. The purchased product key should be of the same edition and language as your subscription software.

 Note   Renewal cards are available from certain authorized computer manufacturers. They may also be available online.

Renew your Prepaid edition with a Renewal card from your Windows start button

Prepaid renewal requires a few simple steps:

  1. Click the Windows Start button to open the directory.
  2. Click the All Programs button to open the list of programs.
  3. Click the Microsoft Office folder to open the list of programs.
  4. Click Microsoft Office Outlook 2007.
  5. Select Activate Product from the Help menu.
  6. Click Convert in the Activation Wizard and then select Enter Product Key to continue.
  7. In the wizard, enter your 25-character activation key.
  8. Click the Install Now button.
  9. A Prepaid subscription window will appear, click Next.
  10. Click Internet Activate on the pop-up screen to complete activation.
  11. Activation Wizard will confirm activation, close Wizard or go to Office Online.

Find out about Prepaid expiration

After the initial prepaid period expires, the software goes into reduced functionality mode. Some of the limitations of reduced functionality mode include the following:

  • You cannot create any new files.
  • You can view existing files, but you cannot modify them.
  • You can print files, but you cannot save them.
