In the past, e-mail and cell phones were two different ways to keep in contact with colleagues, business partners, or family. Both have their advantages, but trying to manage contacts, correspondence, and appointments using both e-mail and a cell phone can leave your head spinning!
Outlook Mobile Service was designed to help ease this stress by being fully integrated with Outlook 2007. The features and layout of Outlook Mobile Service are designed to be familiar to anyone who uses Outlook 2007. Writing and sending text or multimedia messages can now be as quick and easy as typing an e-mail message. And, once a message is sent, you can see it in your Sent Items folder next to all your other correspondence.
Send mobile messages in the same way you send e-mail messages, receive mobile messages in your Outlook Inbox, list your contacts' e-mail address and mobile phone number side-by-side, or re-direct Outlook Calendar summaries and appointments to your mobile phone. Outlook Mobile Service lets you do all this and more. How? Well, that's where this training course is going to help you. You'll start with setting up your account, then go on to see how to send messages to mobile devices. You'll also learn how to get e-mail messages and alerts sent to your cell phone when you're out of the office.
