This feature is available in the Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, English, Japanese, and Korean language versions of Microsoft Office.

ShowIn Windows 2000

  1. On the Microsoft Windows Start menu, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
  2. Double-click Add/Remove Programs.
  3. Click Change or Remove Programs, select Microsoft Office 2003, and then click Change.
  4. Click Add or Remove Features, and then click Next.
  5. On the Custom Setup screen, select the Choose advanced customization of applications check box, and then click Next.
  6. Next to Office Shared Features, click the expand indicator Plus box.
  7. Next to Alternative User Input, click the expand indicator Plus box.
  8. Next to Handwriting, click the down arrow, and then click Run from My Computer.
  9. Click Update.

ShowIn Windows XP

  1. On the Microsoft Windows Start menu, click Control Panel.
  2. Click Add or Remove Programs.
  3. In the Currently installed programs box, click Microsoft Office 2003, and then click Change.
  4. Click Add or Remove Features, and then click Next.
  5. On the Custom Setup screen, select the Choose advanced customization of applications check box, and then click Next.
  6. Next to Office Shared Features. click the expand indicator Plus box.
  7. Next to Alternative User Input, click the expand indicator Plus box.
