About this course

This course includes:

  • One self-paced lesson.
  • A short test at the end of the lesson; the test is not scored.
  • A Quick Reference Card you can take away from the course.

After completing this course you will be able to:

  • Know the software you need in order to use Excel Services.
  • Understand SharePoint permissions and how they affect the actions people can take with files published to your SharePoint site.
  • Know what is happening if you see a message about trusted file locations after you publish a file to your SharePoint site.

Before you begin

Software requirements:

  • A SharePoint site based on SharePoint Server 2007 Enterprise.
  • Excel Services set up with SharePoint Server 2007 Enterprise.
  • Excel 2007 installed on computers through one of the following: Office Professional Plus 2007, Office Enterprise 2007, or Office Ultimate 2007.
