In this example, a line of code was typed in the code pane. After pressing F5, the result of the code appears in the Design pane.
As we just mentioned, you can work in the Code pane, or you can work in the Design pane.
If you make changes in the Code pane, you must refresh the page (press F5) to see your changes in the Design pane.
Why do you have to refresh the page? Because in order to display the page in the Design pane, FrontPage needs to interpret your HTML code first. However, it needs to know when you are done with the code before it can interpret it and display it in the Design pane.
Note You can also save the page (press CTRL+S) or simply click the Design pane to see your changes in the Design pane.
