To select the tag you want to work with, simply click its corresponding button on the Quick Tag Selector.
Of course, the Quick Tag Selector is also good at selecting and editing tags in Design view.
But wait—couldn't you just use your mouse pointer to select things? Yes. However, using the Quick Tag Selector is often much easier—especially if there are other elements close by.
You can also use the Quick Tag Selector to select both the tags and the content inside those tags. Or, you can use it to select only the content of the tags. You'll see how this works in the practice session at the end of the lesson.
Note The Quick Tag Selector is great to use in Design view to select elements. But it's good to know that it's available in Split view and Code view as well.
