Need to make a change? The Chart Options dialog box is often the place to go. You've seen this in Lesson 1, but this is so useful, it's worth mentioning again. If you don't remember anything else, remember the Chart Options dialog box. Add a chart or axis title, add or delete axes or gridlines, move a legend, add or delete data labels, or add a data table to a chart so that your audience can see the numbers that make up your chart.
Remember: To open the Chart Options dialog box, select the chart and then click Chart Options on the Chart menu, or right-click the chart area or the plot area on your chart and click Chart Options on the shortcut menu.
Tip You can also move a chart legend by selecting it and moving it yourself, and you can delete a legend by selecting it and then pressing DELETE. If you move the legend yourself, you can even move it into the plot area itself, which is something you can't do in the Chart Options dialog box.
