The majority of scientific charts require error bars.
As any scientist knows, a set of experimental data will have errors. Errors may be due to limits on the accuracy of your equipment, to limits on your accuracy in reading the measurements, or to many other experimental conditions. When plotting your data on a graph, you should include error bars to show the range of error for each data point. Adding error bars in Excel takes just a few clicks.
