MAK activation for virtualized Office using AppV does not show elevation prompt.
Options:
Right-click an Office application and select Run as administrator
MAK or retail activation does not work on WinXP (error code 0x8007001).

Setup Help Content:
Within the content supporting product setup, there is a topic, What is in the 32-bit version of Office but is not included in the 64-bit version of Office?, that states that 3-D PivotChart views in Excel are not available in the 64-bit version of Office. This is incorrect.
Print button grayed out/taking long time to find printer:
The Print button under File tab | Print is grayed out, and it takes a long time to find network printers. Ctrl+P still works.
There could be network or printing issues, but one cause may be activation. The network may already contain a KMS host that can activate Windows, but not Office. The Office 2010 client looks to DNS to find KMS hosts, and this blocks Backstage Print from being populated.
The solutions would be to activate the volume edition of Office.
Option 1: Set up an Office KMS host
Option 2: Enter a MAK key and activate online.
Document Layout:
Microsoft Office 2010 documents may layout differently on Windows Vista and Windows 2008 Server compared to Windows XP and Windows 7.
Microsoft Office 2010 includes the latest version of several fonts also available in Windows 7. However, Office 2010 cannot install these fonts on Windows Vista or Windows 2008 Server because they are system protected on these operating systems. As a result, Office 2010 documents may layout differently on e.g., Windows 7 and Windows Vista.
This issue is fixed in an update for Windows Vista and for Windows Server 2008. This update removes the system file protection of some font files.
Important: Users who have already installed Office 2010 on Windows Vista and Windows 2008 Server, and willing to get the latest version of the fonts, must first uninstall Office 2010, and then install the Windows update prior to re-installing Office 2010.

Text is too small in some menus and dialog boxes in the Hindi version of Office 2010 on Windows 7:
In Windows 7 the Mangal font used for Hindi and other Devanagari-based languages was updated to version 5.90 to improve the level of detail in individual characters. A side-effect of this update was to produce smaller text. This made text displayed using the Mangal font difficult to read in menus and dialogs, like in the Hindi version of Office 2010.
No issues at this time.
IME(JPN):
SharePoint dictionary is installed only in the latest IME.
Programmability / Add-ins:
Windows Mobile Device Center (WMDC) no longer syncs with Outlook when 64-bit Outlook 2010 is installed on 64-bit Windows.
WMDC also no longer syncs with Outlook if you are using a Click-to-Run installation of Outlook.
Upgrading 32-bit Outlook 2007 to 64-bit Outlook 2010 could also result in data loss during first sync with WMDC.
The WMDC will not be upgraded to work with 64-bit Outlook 2010 or Outlook Click-to-Run.
If you need the functionality of WMDC and you have already installed 64-bit Outlook 2010 or Click-to-Run, uninstall Office 2010 and install the standard installation of 32-bit Office 2010.
Otherwise, install the standard installation of 32-bit Office 2010 if you want to continue to use WMDC.

Poor video performance in some configurations and scenarios.
Video performance is highly dependent on the computer CPU, video card, the quality of the video, the size of the video, and the graphical effects applied to the video. If you are having trouble with video performance, such as skipped frames or skipping audio, please try removing all effects from the video, such as shadow, reflection, recolor, etc. These commands can be found on the Video Tools Design tab.
