Listings that were in the Marketplace as of May 18, 2012 remain in in the system until their expiration date.

Providers can continue to connect customers to add-ins and services by ensuring their landing pages are indexed by Bing, which will result in inclusion in search. See: Bing's SEO best practices for guidance.

We are no longer maintaining the previous Marketplace listings. As of May 19, 2013, all of these listings will have reached their expiration date, and the site will be shifted 100% to Bing federated search.

We do not have plans to bring add-ins or services listings into the new Store.

Many of you have invested in previous versions of Office by creating add-in extensions and listing them in our marketplace. Users of previous versions of Office will be able to find these add-ins by searching on On April 6, we sent an announcement to all Marketplace providers. If you haven’t done so already, we encourage you to review Bing's SEO best practices and make sure your landing page is being indexed by Bing so can return the right results for user searches.

Starting the week of July 23, the Downloads marketplace will be replaced by the new Any listings currently live on our site as of May 18, 2012 will remain in our system and accessible in search. We will also include a link on the through the latter part of 2012.
