Because the practice requires that you work with a partner, it's now time to find that person. You'll need to practice together at the same time. In the last practice you were both the boss. Now you'll each be the delegate to the other's boss.

If you have private appointments in your calendar, you may want to want to move these to a subfolder in your calendar before you get started.

About the practice session

When you click Practice in Outlook, Outlook will open and a separate window with practice instructions will appear alongside (see picture).

Note     You need to have Outlook 2003 installed on your computer.

Tips

  • If the practice instructions aren't visible, or disappear when you click in Outlook, click the Outlook Help taskbar button and then click the Auto Tile button on the upper-left corner of the instructions.
  • If the practice instructions cover up Outlook, click the Auto Tile button on the upper-left corner of the instructions.

Before you begin

Make sure to close Outlook if it is already running.

Start the practice

Click the Practice in Outlook button now.
