Really Simple Syndication (RSS) provides an easy way for you to read the latest postings to your favorite web sites. Many web sites offer RSS Feed subscriptions so that when new content is published, such as an updated news article, you receive a summary or the full article automatically in Microsoft Outlook 2010.
To read RSS Feeds in Outlook 2010, you must subscribe to an RSS Feed. For more information, see Subscribe to RSS Feeds.
Your RSS Feed subscriptions appear under the RSS Feeds folder in your Mail folders.
Many RSS items are summaries of a larger article. A link to the full article is usually included in the body of the RSS item. To download the full item, do one of the following:
The content is downloaded as an attachment titled Full article.htm. Double-click the attachment to open it in your web browser or right-click the attachment, click Save As, and then select the folder where you want to save the attachment.
