If you sign in to your Microsoft Office Live Small Business account, but you can't see your e-mail messages in the inbox or on the Home page, there are a few possible causes for this issue.
- Are you signed in to a different Office Live Small Business account? If you have more than one Office Live Small Business user account, you may have signed in to Office Live Small Business with an account that is not associated with the e-mail that you want to read.
For example, the
fourthcoffee.com
account has two e-mail addresses: sales@fourthcoffee.com and info@fourthcoffee.com. When the business owner uses the e-mail address sales@fourthcoffee.com
to sign into the Office Live Small Business account, only the e-mail sent to the sales@fourthcoffee.com inbox is accessible. To access the info@fourthcoffee.com inbox, the owner
must sign out of the account and sign in again using the e-mail credentials for info@fourthcoffee.com.
If you want to sign in using a different account, you can sign in again. For more information about accessing your e-mail account, see Access your e-mail.
- Did you sign in using an e-mail address other than an Office Live Small Business, hotmail.com, live.com, or msn.com address? Office Live Small Business can access messages sent to e-mail addresses that you created in Office Live Small Business.
It can also access addresses that end with hotmail.com, live.com, and msn.com. However, if another company provides your e-mail address; for example, you have an address that ends with gmail.com, yahoo.com,
mail.com, or aol.com, you cannot read your e-mail directly in Office Live Small Business. You must access that account's inbox to read your Office Live e-mail, or consider using Microsoft Office Outlook or Windows Live Hotmail to read e-mail from many accounts in one place.
