In addition to registering domain names with the extensions .com, .net, .org, and .info, you can also purchase regional domain names with .us, .eu, .de, .jp, .fr, and .co.uk extensions if you live in the corresponding country or region.

For each domain name that you purchase through Office Live Small Business, your credit card is charged an annual fee for as long as you choose to own that domain. However, if you purchase a domain name with the extension .co.uk, you are asked if you want to renew your domain every two years. For more information, see pricing details.

 Important   Each Office Live Small Business account is associated with one Web site. If you want to purchase a custom domain name for a second Web site that is not related to the first, you must create a new Office Live Small Business account.

To purchase a regional domain name, do the following:

1. On the Office Live Small Business Home page, at the top, click More, and then click Domain Manager.
2. On the Domain Manager page, click Purchase additional domains, and follow the instructions to purchase an additional regional domain name.

• After you purchase a regional domain name, it may take up to a week before your new domain name is approved.
• The first custom domain name that you purchase through Office Live Small Business automatically becomes your primary domain. That means that any time customers type your custom domain name into a browser, they will automatically be taken to your Office Live Small Business Web site. Any additional domain names that you purchase will automatically point to your primary domain. If you want to change the primary domain for your Web site, see Change your primary domain.
