You can upload most file types to Microsoft Office Live Workspace beta, including Microsoft Office documents, images, and file types that you created in software from companies other than Microsoft Corporation.
However, to protect users, Office Live Workspace blocks files that have certain file name extensions that could act as executable files. For example, a file that has an .exe file name extension could potentially contain code that runs on demand when it is uploaded to the Office Live Workspace site. As a result, Office Live Workspace prevents users from uploading files that have an .exe extension.
